Privacy

PuzzleForge has no accounts, no sign-up and no database. Here is everything that happens with your data.

Puzzles are made on your device

Word searches, bingo cards, crosswords, flashcards, scrambles, mazes, sudoku, cryptograms, anagrams, word ladders and cloze worksheets are all generated by code running in your browser. Your word lists are not uploaded.

What is saved in your browser

Each maker remembers your last word list and settings in your browser's local storage (keys starting with pf:), so you can come back and reprint. The flashcard maker also stores which Leitner box each card is in. This never leaves your device and we cannot see it.

The AI word helper

If you press "Get words" (or ask for a passage), the topic and grade you typed are sent to our server and passed to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to write the list. Nothing else from the page is sent. We don't store the requests; the provider processes them under Vercel's terms. Please don't type personal information into the topic box.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and doesn't build a profile of you. Hosting is provided by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs.

Children

The site collects no personal information, so it is safe for students to use under a teacher's or parent's guidance.
